The use of shortcuts is a common feature across macOS applications, from simple commands such as Cmd-C and Cmd-V to more complex sequences like Cmd-N and Cmd-O for creating or opening files. However, when faced with applications requiring the repeated input of intricate key combinations—such as Shift-Cmd-Option-Control-F1 or Shift-Cmd-Option-F12—the experience can become cumbersome.

Individuals may find themselves repeatedly typing these complex sequences, which can be error-prone and frustrating—particularly if they haven't used the application for some time and need to recall specific shortcuts. Keybot offers a solution aimed at streamlining this process. It is available in two integrated versions: one for macOS and this companion app for iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad. With Keybot, users can define preferences for multiple macOS applications, specifying custom shortcuts to trigger various functions within each program.

These customized shortcuts are then displayed as buttons on the iOS device's screen. Users can simply tap the corresponding button to send the predefined shortcut directly to the active macOS application, effectively bypassing the need to manually enter complex key combinations.

To maximize functionality, users should also install Keybot on their Mac. This setup facilitates seamless communication between iOS and macOS, enhancing workflow and reducing time spent memorizing or manually inputting complex shortcuts.

Overall, Keybot presents a practical solution to reduce keystroke fatigue, improve productivity, and simplify the management of keyboard shortcuts within multiple applications.
